“Educational Center for People with Disabilities” – financed by the “Global Fund for Children” (GFC) – Twice a week, English language and computer study course has been conducted for the group of young people with disabilities. Psychologist conducted group activities with the beneficiaries; financial assistance has been provided to beneficiaries within health care and well-being grant.

“Inclusive Education – New Approaches, New Opportunities” – financed by “Eurasia” Foundation – Training course on inclusive education has been conducted for teachers of public schools in Tbilisi and Batumi; Seminar for journalists has been conducted; The leaflet “Terms, Labels, Stereotypes” has been published and distributed; /see. Publications/. Social video -clip “We all Together, We Learn Together” has been created and shown on TV during the period of project realization.

“From Patient to Citizen” – financed by United Nations Department for Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) – Training courses have been conducted for the NGO-s and DPO-s functioning in Tbilisi and Batumi; Informational booklet “From Patient To Citizen”, the poster “ Disability is in Vision and Environment and not in Person” have been published and distributed; Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, adopted by the General Assembly of United Nations, on December 13, 2006 has been translated into Georgian language, published and distributed among state structures and NGO-s dealing with disability and related issues. /see. “Education without Borders” – financed by the Open Society Georgian Foundation (OSGF) – International workshop on inclusive education has been conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Representatives from Bangladesh, Jordan, Uganda have shared their experience with Georgian teachers, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, NGO-s.

“Let’s Learn Together” – financed by the Ministry of Education and Science – training course on inclusive education has been conducted for teachers of public schools in Telavi, Zugdidi and Batumi.

“Inclusive, Leaning Friendly Environment” – financed by the Open Society Georgian Foundation (OSGF) – PR campaign on promotion of inclusive education has been conducted with participation of schoolchildren of ten pilot schools: “Let’s Get Acquainted” has been organized; Thematic pictures have been painted on the walls of public school # 60.

“Educational-Cultural Center for People with Disabilities” – financed by the “Global Fund for Children” (GFC) – Twice a week, English languages and computer study course has been conducted for the group of young people with disabilities. Psychologist conducted group activities with the beneficiaries; out-door events have been organized; Independent youth NGO “Way to Future” has been founded and officially registered by the beneficiaries of the project.

“Today’s Children Tomorrow’s Future” – financed by the Open Society Georgian Foundation (OSGF) – The aim of the project was promotion of inclusive education in Adjara Autonomous Republic: Inclusive Education Coordinative Group has been founded; trainings for teachers of public school # 6 in Batumi has been conducted; Informational booklet “Children with Mental Disabilities and their Education”; Children with disabilities, included into school # 6 have been evaluated and Individual Educational Plans (IEP) has been developed. At present moment monitoring of IEP-s is in the process.

“Teachers Challenges Regarding Students with ADHD/ADD” – financed by the “World Learning” The aim of the project was raising of public awareness on general aspects of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among teachers, parents and the society: questioning of teachers of ten pilot schools has been conducted; informational booklet “What Should We Know About ADHD” and brochure “Children with ADHD, Schools and the Family” has been published /see. Publications/; Two days seminar on ADHD has been conducted;

“Educational-Cultural Center for Internally Displaced Children and Youth” – financed by the “Global Fund for Children” (GFC) – Organization has improved its technical base; twice a week, lessons of foreign languages and computer study course were conducted for the group of internally displaced children and young people. Psychologist conducted group activities with the beneficiaries; financial assistance was provided to beneficiaries within health care and well-being grant.

“World belongs to us” – financed by the embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia – (Matra project). Project beneficiaries (deaf and hearing impaired) obtained skills of souvenir making. The souvenirs were sold at the charity events and exhibitions.

“Together for Better Future” – financed by the embassy of Switzerland in Georgia – young people with disabilities (schoolchildren from the specialized school of deaf people) obtained skills of souvenir making. The souvenirs were sold at the charity events and exhibitions.

“Let Me Introduce Myself” – financed by the Open Society Georgian Foundation (OSGF). Students from school #10 and young people with disabilities studied Adobe software Premier Photoshop and Premier Elements and created social posters and video spots. Web-page of the organization has been upgraded and materials created within the framework of the project was uploaded on it. The winning poster has been published and distributed in public schools, NGO-s and state structures.

“World in Our Eyes” – financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia – after the study course of Adobe software Premier Photoshop, 12 young persons (internally displaced and having different disabilities) will create social posters united with one motto “My Abkhazia”. The beneficiaries will also develop essays and short stories on the same topic. Final presentation will be organized in the form of the exhibition and the winners will be awarded special certificates and symbolic presents.
